Terms of use.
1. Scope of use
The spaces may be used for photography, exhibitions, trade showings and pop-up events. Some uses require prior consultation.
2. Booking
A booking is confirmed when we send confirmation. Provisional holds last three days.
3. Fees
Fees follow the figures published on this site. Any extras are quoted in advance.
4. Cancellation
Free until eight days before; 50% from seven to four days; 100% from three days.
5. Furniture
Pieces may be moved for a shoot but must not leave the space. Damage is charged at cost.
6. Liability
We are not liable for accidents or loss except where caused by us.
7. Publication
Photos are published only with consent.
8. Prohibited use
The following are prohibited: (1) anything unlawful or contrary to public order; (2) causing nuisance to other users or neighbours; (3) subletting without our permission; (4) adult content; (5) anything likely to damage the fittings, furniture or antiques; (6) open flame, or smoking outside designated areas; (7) use by anyone affiliated with organised crime; (8) use differing from the purpose declared at booking; (9) registering the premises as a company address without permission. Please consult us in advance about animals, large fittings, or any use of fire or water.
9. Restoring the space
Please return furniture to its original position. Take rubbish with you or pay JPY 1,000 a bag for disposal. Cleaning beyond normal wear may be charged at cost.
10. Exclusion of organised crime
You warrant that you and your party are not affiliated with organised crime. If this proves untrue, use is terminated immediately without refund.
11. If the space becomes unusable
If the space cannot be used for reasons beyond our control - natural disaster, power failure, equipment failure - we refund what you have already paid. We cannot cover losses beyond that.
12. Changes
These terms may change. Bookings already made are governed by the terms in force at the time of booking.
13. Payment
Bookings made through this site are paid by credit card. We place an authorisation when the booking is confirmed and take payment by eight days before the booked date; bookings confirmed later than that are charged on confirmation. Multi-day bookings, two locations on the same day and overnight use can be quoted and invoiced instead. Card numbers are held by our payment processor, not by us.
14. Additional charges
If any of the following is found after use, we charge the actual cost: (1) damage or soiling of fixtures and furniture (repair or replacement at cost); (2) use beyond the booked hours (charged hourly at the standard rate); (3) rubbish left behind (JPY 1,000 per bag); (4) cleaning where the space was not returned to its original state (at cost). We contact you with photographs and an itemised statement and allow seven days for objection. If we hear nothing within that period, we charge the card on file. Charges to the card are capped at the amount of the booking itself; anything beyond that is invoiced separately with an itemised statement.
15. People you bring
The person who books is responsible for the conduct of everyone in the space, including crew, models, guests and contractors.
16. Recording
Each location has security cameras. Footage is used for site safety and to establish damage, overstays and lost property, and is deleted after ninety days. A member of our staff may be present depending on the booking.
